Creative Direction

My goal is to use creative solutions to solve problems, drive the artistic vision of projects, achieve business goals, and optimize team career development, retention, and satisfaction.

I believe in the power of storytelling to provoke empathy and engagement, model optimal performance, outcomes, and deliver key learnings and messaging for the purposes of marketing, sales, and personal and professional development.

Some of the design and collaborative languages I speak include: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Microsoft Office, Asana, G Suite, WebEx, Adobe Connect, Articulate 360 Rise & Storyline, Powtoon, Wooclap, Garage Band, iMovie, Camtasia, Canva, SAP SuccessFactors, Sharepoint, and WordPress.

Describing my experience working with Wendy is like explaining the functions of a Swiss army knife – she is great on so many fronts that I don’t know where to start; An amazing project manager who can see both trees and the forest, a good listener: she motivates and persuades team members to reach objectives. Her intellectual and emotional intelligence shines brightly. We worked on a technical training project – thanks to her leadership the project was very successful.”

I bring talent, stakeholders, artistic vision, branding, budget, best tools and modalities together to meet the goals of the project.

Over the course of the past year, Wendy has been instrumental in the revamp of our BluePrint Leadership Program. Her keen eye for design and her focus on a wholistic learner experience has resulted in a revitalized program that will continue to support the development of Aecon leaders for years to come. In addition to BluePrint, Wendy has led our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion portfolio with her signature innovation and creativity.”

My goals are also to optimize team career development, retention, and satisfaction, as well ensure repeat business and nurture client relationships.

A Creative Director is a consultant, a stage manager, a creative coach, and an advocate for the client, the stake holders, and the team of designers.

My key role and function is to ensure quality of the project, return on investment, and that each person involved from partner to end-user is growing, getting better, and experiencing harmony throughout the creative process.
