Wendy Sinclair

Toronto Art Workshops & Facilitator of The Creative Life

About Wendy

I facilitate experiences and create spaces for people to connect with their true nature and express themselves.

I champion a higher conscious state of being through emotional and body wisdom, expressive arts, connection to nature, and therapeutic experiences designed for individuals and groups.

I’m an artist, writer, learning consultant, grief coach, and facilitator of the Creative Life.

I facilitate art-based transformational learning for the purposes of self-care, emotional health and well-being, problem-solving, personal peace, healing, and creative expression. No art experience or skills necessary.

I coach and ground individuals dealing with grief which includes talk therapy, art therapy, generative practices, nature therapy, and outdoor experiences.

I also offer joyful and liberating art workshops and events for all-age communities and teams, beginner to advanced, focusing on watercolours, one-line drawing, and alcohol inks.

I offer a variety of services, modalities, and mediums because humans are dynamic and we appreciate a variety of tools.

Authentic, loving connections with ourselves, expressing our stories, learning new skills, and exchanging energy are essential for a creative life.

Some have lost this due to the pandemic. Some have lost it sometime after childhood or soon after we had families or careers. Some of us feel like we’ve never had it.

I offer creative solutions that help you get aligned with who you are and who you are meant to be.

My job isn’t to turn you into a fine-artist. Instead I use a variety of creative tools from my wheelhouse and with application, the magic happens.

The Creative Life

To fully live a creative life, we must engage in authentic expression, personal growth, wisdom, community, risk, and wild adventure. We must test our hair-brained schemes, answer the calls, perform acts of courage, conquer new terrain, choose our own safe places and rituals, move & shake, listen to our bodies, and give ourselves permission to be who we really are.

This creates expansion in our consciousness and ultimately the expansion of the human collective.

Our vocations, hobbies, interests, and professions are not who we are. They are what we commit to in order to stay in alignment of our higher purpose. They give us feedback on our true essence.

My wheelhouse encompasses:

  • art and expression
  • improvisation, theatre, dance
  • creative writing and spoken word
  • learning and development
  • teaching and facilitation
  • multi-generational community
  • fitness and wellness
  • solitude and individualism
  • nature and outdoor exploration
  • grief and end-of-life
  • generative practices
  • spirituality and metaphysics
  • somatic wisdom and guidance
  • risk and adventure
  • resilience
